Nex, maker of the award-winning basketball training app HomeCourt, is branching out into a new world of motion-based entertainment. We’re a group of deeply experienced former Apple, Google, and Facebook innovators that build rich, engaging and gamified experiences using ground-breaking AI and computer vision technology.
We’re looking for passionate game artists who consistently create great artwork that immerses players into new and unique worlds. You'll be working on a variety of projects of our own with the potential for working with partners as well. We have a 'get stuff done' attitude, but we don't forget to have fun and learn from each other along the way.
As Game Artist, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the future of interactive physical gaming, and learn directly from seasoned designers and product leaders. From brainstorming through implementation, the Game Artist will collaborate directly with the company leadership, as well as our engineering, marketing, and operations partners. You’ll be expected to quickly develop visuals and concepts, often in various styles, while having the ability to refine and polish them into industry-leading high-fidelity art. You will need to be effective in a fast-paced, high-growth, startup environment. You’ll help establish the future aesthetics of the company’s games and set the benchmark for the quality we’re looking to maintain.
Nex is located in Hong Kong and San Jose, California, USA, you can learn more about us at nex.inc/who-we-are.
